What is behind them is a recording rather than the engine. Press Run Test and a real run plays back — a Donchian and MACD system over the S&P Top 100, and the report it actually wrote: 4,776 trades at 10.34% a year. Read the trade and equity logs, open any trade on the chart, look at the stepped run and the order report, and move between the editors. What you cannot do is change a rule and get new numbers: that needs the engine, and the engine is the part you install.
